Acerca do aquecimento global

Uma notícia de 2 de Fevereiro deste ano¹ mencionava a um estudo assustador acerca da influência das mudanças climáticas na vida das populações. Falava do aumento do nível do mar, de regiões que poderão ficar submersas dando origem a milhares de refugiados, e da escassez de água. Hoje, é publicada uma notícia acerca do Kilimandjaro², o ponto mais alto do continente africano, situado entre o Quénia e a Tanzânia. Pela primeira vez em 11 mil anos, o monte está sem neve e sem gelo...

O aquecimento global está em curso, as consequências não são bem conhecidas, e ainda assim há países que optaram por ficar fora do Protocolo de Quioto...
